How long does new services take?

If you order your hosting from me I still have to either
register a new domain for you or transfer your existing
domain.

Now I do not like struggling, so...
I do not just update your DNS, I first check that you have
your website files and your email user account names etc.

Then I update your DNS on a quiet time (usually a Friday
afternoon) so that your domain can propogate all through
the weekend...

Basically these are the processes and how long it all takes:

1. Update or Register Domain (Can be done immediately 5 seconds
or over a few days, depending on your requirements)

2. Setup your account on one of the servers (a few minutes after
you have paid me :) )
